Intimidating other people

Rated 3.83/5 based on 822 customer reviews

Some socially awkward types have the problem of being a bit too uneasy around certain types of people. Here are the big ones: When someone is intimidated by really outgoing people it's that they're worried about having to talk to them and feeling really overwhelmed and like they won't be able to keep up or know what to say.because they lack self esteem and need to feel that they can control other people by having an effect on their lives. They would have been criticised for being nice when they were young, lashed out and bullied someone verbally and found that that other person backed down and Voila!much more powerful than we think, and the key to our happiness is to consistently remember that fact. How often do we give away our power by allowing our insecurities to create insane stories in our mind about other people?I believe that in most cases, the feeling of intimidation has nothing to do with the person who intimidates us. How many people experience near-paralyzing fear and nervousness when they’re introduced to the CEO of their company (or any other high-profile person) because they believe that they’re not good enough to be communicating with her?

Actually, even if you didn’t want it, I was happy to give it to you anyway. Some people are born with personalities which make them intimidating no matter what they do or say while others are milder in spirit and temperament. For these people being intimidating as a result of a situation in which it is called for can be very difficult.Obviously, it should go without saying that none of the things you demand of the people you are in authority over should be unreasonable or cruel.Cruelty does not make you look intimidating it just makes people dislike you immensely.
